Dr. Livingston has been practicing Family Medicine in Boerne since 2005. She put her thriving medical career on pause for 18 months when she and her husband felt God’s call to be more available for their 3 children. It was also the time when she felt dissatisfied with the state of family medicine. Forced to spend less and less time with her patients and more and more time on growing paperwork for insurance companies, Dr. Livingston recognized taking a step back would not only be the best decision for her family, but also the best decision she could make for her patients. After many months of offering free medical care, doing volunteer work, spending much-needed time with her family, and undertaking painstaking research on how to provide the highest quality of care to patients. She looks forward to returning to the core values of Family Medicine – clinical excellence and compassionate knowledge of each patient. Dr. Livingston has and will continue to provide volunteer medical services for special needs camps, youth shooting sports and throughout the community.
“My philosophy is that it’s not just your physical well-being that’s important in health. Your mental, social, and spiritual state connect and feed into your entire well-being.”
